Amazing opportunity alert!
Edinburgh International Television Festival’s ‘The Network’ returns this year and they are offering 60 FREE Network places to award to the future stars of the TV industry!
The Network is a FREE intensive introduction to working in the TV industry run by the world’s leading TV festival.
You’ll spend four days in Edinburgh learning practical TV-making skills with the teams behind programmes like Blue Peter, Let It Shine, Holby City and Sky News. You’ll get CV and networking advice, and attend parties with the cream of the TV industry.
Networkers are paired with their own mentor and gain exclusive access to fantastic jobs and opportunities after completing the scheme.
Also, food and accommodation in Edinburgh is provided, too!
They are looking for talented people from all backgrounds. No experience or qualifications are needed, just creativity and a love of TV.
.You must be over 18 years of age by 22 August 2017, but there’s no upper age limit on applying – they welcome applications from anyone, including people looking to make a career change.
You don’t need A-levels or a degree to apply, but if you are currently in full time education, you must be in your final year of college/university and available to work from September 2017.
This is not a scheme for presenters or actors. The Network is a training opportunity for those who want to work behind the camera.
If you love TV and want to be part of the army of people behind the cameras whose job it is to make brilliant content, this is the opportunity for you.
Go to http://www.thenetwork-tv.co.uk for full details on how to apply.
The deadline for applications is Friday, 28 April.
Assessment days will be held across the country in late May/early June 2017
The Network at Edinburgh Television Festival takes place 22 –25 August 2017.
